Use the Embedded Pattern Finishing strategy to create a toolpath with the contact point defined by an embedded curve. This is similar to the Profile Finishing strategy.
Embedded pattern machining takes the normal from the surface and uses that to place the tool so that it exactly machines the surface. So the contact position stays on the pattern as it machines.
