Tutorial: Structural buckling analysis

When an object is very long when compared to its cross-sectional area, it becomes unstable under a compressive load. A buckling load factor of less than one means that buckling will occur under that load.

In this tutorial, you use a structural buckling analysis to identify if you can eliminate the likelihood of buckling on a plastic table, without redesigning the model, simply by changing the plastic material. You compare the buckling results of two different materials, so you can practice interpreting results.
