Start-Up Templates

Templates help you quickly begin work on the kind of scene you want to create.

Default menu: > Menu bar > File > New > New from Template > Open Template Manager
Alt menu: > Menu bar > Scene > Tools (Scene Set) > Manage Templates

The template manager lets you choose from a variety of scene setups, to help you get started with work on a new scene.

The information saved in a template can include:

Display Units and System Units
Renderer and rendering resolution
Scene geometry, which can be animated
The active Workspace
The order of rollouts in the interface
ViewCube settings
Viewport layout and settings
User paths.
