Creating and Setting Attributes - Arnold for Houdini
LOP nodes often offer the same controls for creating and authoring USD Attributes. These come in the form of a pop-up menu specifying behavior and the additional fields to set the value of the Attribute. The behavior detailed below applies to all the Solaris and Arnold-specific attributes that use this UI layout.

**Set or Create
Sets the Attribute, even if it did not exist previously.
**Set if Exists
It only sets the Attribute if it already exists.
**Block
Blocks the Attribute from affecting the Arnold renders.
**Do Nothing
It does not affect the USD scene; existing Attributes remain the same, and no new Attributes are created.
