Search and Filter RFIs

Use search and filter options to find desired RFIs. Searching and filtering allow the creation of reports on RFIs that share traits.

Search RFIs

The Search in RFIs only searches the titles and questions. Use filters to find RFIs based on other fields or arrange the list by selecting the header.

Tip: Create naming conventions to have custom filters. For example, you could have names that include the affected phase of the project. Having the phase included in the name allows searching for "phase 1". Export a report containing RFIs that affect that phase. Similarly, mentioning a dependency can help avoid part of the project from continuing which causes rework in the future.

Filter RFIs

Access the filters by selecting the Filter icon. Filter by most of the available fields in RFIs. Filters help in:

  • Reducing the number of displayed RFIs to make searching easier.
  • Create specific RFI reports.

For example, a team member concerned with the budget may want to use the Cost impact filter. With the filters set export a report.

Sort RFIs

Sort RFIs by selecting a column header.

Manipulate Columns

Use the gear icon to access table settings. The following functionality is available:

  • Show and hide columns using the checkboxes.
  • Hover over a column to see icons that snap columns to the left or right.
  • Hover over a column and use the handlebar icon to drag and change the column order.
