Custom Submittal Responses
This page provides an overview of the default responses that can be used when reviewing and processing submittals. It covers:
- Understanding the available default response types
- Adding, editing, and managing custom default responses
- Setting up default responses at the project level
There are three main categories of default responses:
Approved Responses: Used when accepting and approving a submittal.
Revise and Resubmit Responses: Used when a submittal requires modifications before approval.
Rejected Responses: Used when outright rejecting a submittal.
To add a custom default response:
- Click Submittals from the left navigation to open the Submittals tool.
- Click Settings menu
and choose Responses.
- Add Approved responses.
- Add Revise and resubmit responses.
- Add Rejected responses.
Once created, default responses can be edited, deactivated, or deleted as needed. Project administrators can also set certain responses as required at the project level.
