Drain Line Tool Properties Dialog

A Drain Line is a reference line that acts as a directional constraint for drainage.

Right-click the Drain Line tool in the Grading Object Tool palette and select Properties to access the Drain Line Tool Properties dialog. Use this dialog to define the default constraints for the drain line tool.

Property Definitions

Image

Displays the icon representing the grading object. Right-click the icon and choose Select Image to change the icon for both Light and Dark themes.

Name

Specifies the display name of the grading object. Edit this field when creating different tool versions for your workflow.

Description

Specifies the tooltip when the cursor is placed on the tool in the Grading Object Tool palette. Edit this field when creating different tool versions for your workflow.

Breakline

When enabled, the drain line works to create a consistent slope along the line.
