Read the spindle direction from an NCI file

By default the spindle direction is set based on the NC Format. This document shows how to setup TruePath to read it from the NCI file exported from Mastercam.

Setting the spindle direction preference

The preference for reading the spindle direction from the NCI file can be set by following the steps below.

1. Start Autodesk CAMplete TruePath.

2. In the ribbon, go to Manage > Tools > Options.

3. Click File Types.

4. In the drop-down menu, select Mastercam.

5. In Additional Options, select .

6. Enable .

   

7. Click Close.

8. Shut down Autodesk CAMplete TruePath.

All future projects will now read the spindle direction from the NCI file.
