To modify part family properties

Declare a Part Category, Part Class, and Part Family Name.

Note: You cannot modify Part Category or Part Class for an existing part family in the Drainage Structure or Piping catalogs. The Part Category and Part Class attributes must be declared when you create a new parts family.
  1. Add a part family or select an existing one. See: To add or modify a part family.
  2. Enter a Part Family Name. If this is a new part, select a Part Category and Part Class.
    Note: For Pipe families in the Drainage Structure domain, select a Pipe Form shape and choose a size range. These parts have standard sizing predefined, so by defining the size range a default set of part sizes can be set.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Review and/or modify shape details.
