The tools within the Infrastructure Part Shape Utilities ribbon tab are intended to help you create infrastructure content in Autodesk Inventor that can be used by Autodesk InfraWorks and Autodesk Civil 3D. You will not use all of these tools for each part shape template that you model. Each tool corresponds to different types of content domains. For example, part shape templates that you model in Autodesk Inventor for Drainage Structures will require assembly connectors, while Piping domain parts will not.
