Model Coordination
Coordination
Coordination Space Configuration | File Format - The new file format filters for coordination spaces provide more granular control and flexibility during your project's lifetime. This feature enables you to define the relevant file types that you want to include for your workflows during creation of a coordination space. You are also able to edit the included file types later on in the coordination process, to make sure that only relevant files are available for clash detection and coordination workflows.
This file format configuration can be applied globally to all folders included in a coordination space, or be defined manually at the individual folder level, balancing efficiency with precision.
See Create and Manage Coordination Spaces for more information.
Viewer | Extended properties (BETA) - Add extended property data to models directly in the Model Coordination viewer. You can add extended properties to models using the Parameters Service, and then use the Object Table or Properties panel to edit the property values. The ability to add these extended properties can help make workflows such as classification, work packaging, estimating, 4D scheduling, and progress tracking easier and more efficient. These extended properties are included when creating snapshots using the Save to Docs feature, making them easy to share with and access in Docs.
See Extended Properties for more information.
Viewer | ACC Viewpoints - Create and share specific model perspectives, complete with filters, spatial settings, and hidden object settings, to help your team quickly focus on what matters most. Viewpoints can help to streamline the coordination and review process across disciplines, ensuring everyone is on the same page. Enhance your workflow, reduce errors, and efficiently resolve issues with this powerful tool.
See Viewpoints for more information.
Viewer | WebGPU Graphics - You can now enable the latest 3D web graphics technology in the Settings panel > Configuration tab > Performance Optimization area, for an improved performance when working in the viewer.
See Model Viewing Toolbars for more information.
Clash | Performance Improvements - Previously in Model Coordination, all detailed clash information was loaded automatically when the product was opened. Now, it is only downloaded 'on demand' when you select the content you want to clash using the Clashes tab in the viewer. This improves the performance and scalability of clash-on coordination spaces. Additionally, the Clashes panel interface has been improved, making it easier to find and focus on clashes between the most important models.
Note: When two models are open in the viewer, or you select a cell on the clash grid (which represents the clashes between two models), clash information is still automatically loaded.
