Use this menu option to import a Parasolid Transmit Binary (.x_b) file containing a 3D solid model into PartMaker. When PartMaker has imported the model, it is displayed in the Solids window, and a model item is added to the Job Explorer.
Selecting this menu option displays the Import Parasolid X_B File dialog for you to select the file you want to import.
When you have imported the solid model into PartMaker, you may want to extract machinable edges and other geometric data from the model or use it for performing surface machining.
