Use the options in the Solids > Rotation Anchor menu to control the position of the rotation anchor in the Solids window. The rotation anchor, 
, is displayed in the Solids window only when you are rotating a solid.
All Items — This is the default position of the rotation anchor. When selected, the rotation anchor is set to the geometric center of all visible entities in the solids window.
Selected Items — When selected, the rotation anchor is set to the geometric center of all selected entities, faces, edges, and vertices in Part mode. In Setup Assembly mode, the rotation anchor is set to the geometric center of the selected setup assembly component.
View — When selected, the rotation anchor is set to the center of the view.
Origin — When selected, the rotation anchor is set to the part origin in Part mode, and to the global origin in Setup Assembly mode.
Active Model — This option is available only in Part mode. When selected, the rotation anchor is set to the geometric center of the active model.
