Release Notes in Version 2025.1

This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2025.0 and 2025.1 of ICMLive Operator Client.

See Known Limitation and Issues for a list of limitations and any issues that we are aware of.

The fixes listed below are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

Meshing failure when a previous attempt at meshing has been cancelled

It was not possible to re-mesh when a previous attempt at meshing the same 2D zone had been cancelled in the Job Control window. This has been corrected.

Meshing failure for very small elements

A failure in clip meshing when elements with sides all less than 1mm long are generated has been rectified.

TVD Connector units

TVD Connectors can now be used with units with more than 8 characters in their name, such as US gal/min.

Summer storms in ReFH2

The BF0 value from ReFH2 was always being set assuming a winter storm. This has been corrected for databases from 2025.1 onwards. For model consistency, pre-2025.1 databases will continue to use the winter storm value for both summer and winter storms.

Updating cross-section values from ground model

On the cross-section editor, the capability to update cross-section values from the ground model has been made more reliable.

Snapping to a run of vertices

When creating a new polygon, snapping to a run of vertices on an existing polygon was not always correctly identifying the longest and shortest route around the existing polygon when edge lengths are irregular. This has been fixed.

Hot-starting using different meshes

A crash when hot-starting a large 2D simulation from a state using a different mesh has been fixed.

Copying and pasting RTC rules

A bug in the copying and pasting of multiple RTC rules has been fixed.

Clip meshing with banks

A number of issues in clip meshing with connecting river banks and inline banks between rivers and 2D zones have been addressed.

Unexplained crashes

Some GDI handle leaks have been addressed. These tend to cause crashes particularly if the application has been running for some time or if there are many applications running simultaneously.

Spurious validation errors following meshing

With complicated geometries, some spurious E2217 validation errors were being generated. Once the 2D zone has been re-meshed, these validation errors should now disappear.

Unit conversion on import from InfoSWMM

When importing from InfoSWMM, unit conversion was not being performed for flow quantities with metric units that differ from InfoWorks' flow units (e.g. LPS). This has been corrected.

Intelligent network search

With intelligent network search activated, when clicking directly on an object that is on top of a subcatchment, the subcatchment was being selected, not the object clicked on. The desired object is now selected instead.

Help for Channel Data Fields

The descriptions of the Gradient and Full capacity data fields incorrectly stated that these values would be calculated automatically when carrying out Network Validation. This was incorrect and the applicable text has been removed.

Vulnerabilities

The following vulnerabilities have been fixed:
