Release Notes in Version 2024.3

This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2024.2 and 2024.3 of ICMLive Operator Client.

Pre 2024.0 release notes can be found here.

See Known Issues in 2024 Versions for a list of limitations that we are aware of.

The fixes listed below are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

Inconsistent results when more than one subcatchment drains to an object

When more than one subcatchment drains to the same place, results could be slightly different between simulations unless the multi-threading limit for the run is set to one thread per job. This has been rectified.

Drowned weirs and broad-crested weirs

A problem with simulations involving drowned weirs and broad-crested weirs potentially failing to converge to a solution has been solved.

Workgroup Data Server performance

When using a Workgroup Data Server over a slow connection, there is no longer a long pause when right-clicking on a model group in the tree.

Selection lists

You can now open a grid view of a selection list when using a database from a previous version of the software.

TVD Connectors

Introducing a TVD Connector resample buffer no longer induces a time lag on other input TVD connectors.

Results points on river reaches

Simulations no longer crash with an access violation if you define a Network results point (1D) with Distance from upstream end equal to the length of the river reach it is on.

Open Data Import Center

The ODIC now imports tables and features from subfolders in File Geodatabases.

Culverts

An "Invalid pointer" error was arising when opening results with a network containing a conduit of type "culvert" with a link suffix other than 1. This has been fixed. Simulations will need to be re-run in order to benefit from the fix.

Vulnerabilities

The following vulnerabilities have been addressed within third party components:

CVE-2018-8780, CVE-2018-8779, CVE-2019-16255, CVE-2018-16396, CVE-2022-28739, CVE-2017-12627, CVE-2008-4482, CV-2016-4463, CVE-2015-0252, CVE-2009-1885.

See the Autodesk Trust Center for details about vulnerabilities in InfoWorks software.
