This topic lists any bugs that have been fixed in ICMLive Operator Client between versions 2024.4 and 2024.5.5.
Pre 2024.0 release notes can be found here.
See Known Issues for a list of limitations that we are aware of.
The fixes listed in the following sections are those that are viewed as likely to impact on users in an unexpected way, mainly changed simulation results, or differences in behaviour that might not be obvious.

ICMLive Operator Client 2024.5.3
This section lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2024.5.2 and 2024.5.3 of ICMLive Operator Client.
Subcatchment flow to node result
Since version 2023.2, a subcatchment with "Groundwater infiltration node" explicitly set to the same node as the drains to "Node ID" had groundwater flow double-counted in the flow to node result. This bug did not arise when the "Groundwater infiltration node" is blank, in which case the groundwater flow also goes to the drains to "Node ID" node but was not double-counted. The issue has now been fixed, and the online help has been updated to explain the behaviour more clearly.
Mesh backwards compatibility
When a mesh is generated in a 2024.5-format database using InfoWorks ICM 2025.0, 2025.1 or 2025.2, that mesh cannot then be used or regenerated in InfoWorks ICM 2024.5. In the 2024.5.3 patch, the mesh can be regenerated. However, a mesh generated in 2025.0, 2025.1 or 2025.2 can still not be used in 2024.5.3. It must be regenerated in 2024.5.3 first.

ICMLive Operator Client 2024.5.1
This section lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2024.5 and 2024.5.1 of ICMLive Operator Client.
Meshing in legacy versions
Meshing was failing when running a legacy version of ICM (such as 10.0) with a 2023.2.6 or 2024 version of the Agent. The latest versions of the Agent now support meshing from legacy versions of ICMLive Operator Client.
Delete key
Pressing the Delete key on the keyboard whilst an entry in a property editor is selected once more deletes that entry.
Toolbar Delete button
The Delete button
on the toolbar was not always active when it should have been in 2024.5. This has been corrected.
Sluices in 2D
A crash when simulating networks containing more sluice linear structures than base linear structures (i.e. multiple sluices within a base linear structure) has been fixed.
TSDBs in databases from previous versions of InfoWorks
If a TSDB in a pre-2024.4 format database is edited in version 2024.4 or 2024.5, it can no longer be accessed in earlier versions of ICM. This has been resolved in 2024.5.1.
Vulnerabilities
The following following security vulnerabilities have been fixed:
CVE-2024-0232, CVE-2018-1311, CVE-2023-37536, CVE-2023-3817, CVE-2021-43398
See the Autodesk Trust Center for details about vulnerabilities in InfoWorks software.
ICMLive Operator Client 2024.5
This section lists any bugs that have been fixed between versions 2024.4 and 2024.5 of ICMLive Operator Client.
TVD results for zero-duration simulations as alternate results
Time-varying results can now be seen in property editors for simulations with zero duration opened as alternate results for comparison.
Clip mesher with initial conditions zones
There was an issue with aggregating tiny triangles in the vicinity of initial conditions zones that overlap or have otherwise challenging geometry, when using clip meshing. This was causing some simulations to fail. It has been resolved.
Workgroup Server authentication
When attempting to connect to a workgroup databases, authentication problems are now reported with a more helpful message.
Aggregation of triangles into elements around breaklines in clip meshing
Triangles that are adjacent across a breakline cannot be aggregated into the same element, as this defeats the purpose of a breakline. Around the end of a breakline, sometimes all the triangles are aggregated, due to 'wrapping' around the end of the breakline, except for one that is next to the breakline. If this is a small triangle, it can leave an undesirably small element in the mesh, unable to aggregate because of the breakline constraint. Triangles are now aggregated in increasing size order, starting with the smallest, which should prevent this situation arising.
Importing rainfall from InfoSWMM
Rainfall depths from InfoSWMM are now correctly converted to intensities when importing into a SWMM model group.
Re-runs using networks branched from a scenario
There was an issue with using a network created by branching from a scenario in a re-run of a run that used the original network. This has been fixed.
2D simulations on GPU
An intermittent failure of 2D simulations running on a GPU has been fixed.
Active and inactive flags when importing from SWMM
Active/inactive settings are now respected when importing SWMM models into SWMM networks.
Importing subcatchments into InfoWorks networks
SWMM subcatchments without polygons are now imported correctly into InfoWorks networks.
Default secondary discharge coefficients
An issue with the updating of default secondary discharge coefficients on weirs in InfoWorks networks has been fixed.
Cumulative runoff in statistical reports
Cumulative pervious and impervious runoff is now available in statistical reports for SWMM simulations.
Editing sub-event properties in solar radiation
A crash when editing sub-event properties in the solar radiation data in a rainfall event has been fixed.
Importing time series from SWMM
If the import of time series from SWMM creates overlapping subevents due to difficulties with timestamps, there is now a warning in the import log.
PDM Calibration
The restriction that simulations using PDM functionality could only be run if the PDM option was enabled on your licence was removed in version 2021.1, and the help has now been updated to reflect this.
Vulnerabilities
The following vulnerability has been addressed within third party components:
CVE-2023-38545
See the Autodesk Trust Center for details about vulnerabilities in InfoWorks software.
