Create Alert Criteria

Create alert criteria to get notified when sensors pass certain thresholds.

To create alert criteria

1. In Alerts, go to the Alerts Criteria tab and select Create Alert Criteria.
2. Fill in a Name, Priority and Status.
3. Under Expressions, choose between Physical and Virtual.

   Physical sensors retrieve live sensor data, while Virtual sensors are time series data generated within Info360 Insight (e.g., in an analytic).

4. Click on the plus sign (+) to define an expression.
5. Select Sensor.
6. Select a sensor, operator, and enter a value.
   
7. You can add additional expressions if you wish. If you do, choose which logical operator (And / Or) you want to apply.
8. On the Notifications tab, you can choose to set up email notifications for the alert criteria.
   1. Interval: Choose when you want to send the email notification.
   2. Recipients: Enter the email addresses separated by a comma.
9. Click on the Create Alert Criteria button.
