There are three modes of calibration which can be selected from the Main Menu.
Steady State - The Steady State mode is used to perform a Steady State calibration in which the desired pipe roughness, junction demands, unknown pipe statuses, junction pressures, and pipe flow as well as system constraints and optimization options are specified to correlate with known steady state field measurement data.
Fire Flow - The Fire Flow test option is used to perform a Fire Flow calibration in which the desired pipe roughness, fire flow test measurements, as well as system constraints and optimization options are specified to correlate with known fire flow field measurement data.
Extended Period Simulation - The Extended Period Simulation option is used to perform a calibration over time in which the desired pipe roughness, junction pressure, pipe flow and tank measurements are supplied for different loading conditions as well as system constraints and optimization options are specified to correlate with known field measurement data.
To specify the mode to be employed, select the type of calibration simulation to be performed from the Mode option of the Main Menu. The Calibrator Tabs will change depending on the mode selected.
