CSV Export Dialog

This dialog is used to export results from one or more simulations, for a selection of network objects, to CSV files, and is displayed when CSV export is selected from the Results menu.

CSV Export Dialog

Option

Description

Sim/SWMM Sim box

Droptarget for the simulations from which results are to be exported.

Note: If you have selected any cloud simulations whose full results have not been downloaded, a message is displayed informing you of this and asks if you would like to download the results now. Selecting Yes downloads the results, which can then be added to this droptarget.

Selection List

A Selection List can be used to restrict the export of results to a selection of network objects. If a Selection List is not included, the results of all network objects will be exported.

A Selection List cannot be included if a Results Analysis item has already been selected.

Res Analysis

A Results analysis item can be used to restrict the export of 2D results to a list of Results point (2D), Results section or Results polygon (2D) Results analysis objects. If a Results analysis item is not included, the results of all 2D Zone mesh elements is exported.

A Results analysis item cannot be included if a Selection List has already been selected.

Header

If checked, a header row, including network object IDs, is exported to the CSV file.

If the with Units is checked, units information is included in a second header row.

Units

Determines if the results are exported in the current User units or in InfoWorks ICM Native (metric) units.

Timestep

The type of timestep to be exported:

  • Results - export time varying results at results timestep
  • Gauge - export time varying results at gauge timestep (results will not be exported for objects that do not have gauge results)
  • Min/Max - export minimum / maximum summary results

Output Folder

The folder where the results are to be exported. This can be typed-in or browsed for using the button.

Attribute option tabs

The lower half of the dialog contain tabs for each type of network object for which results can be exported. The attributes to be exported are selected by checking the appropriate boxes on the tabs.

Using the Select All and Deselect All buttons checks or unchecks all attributes on the current option tab.

For each simulation selected in the Sim/SWMM sim box, a CSV file will be created for each object/attribute pair checked.
