The remote results root is a directory where simulation results are stored.
The remote files root is used as the default data source file base for live data.
The location of these roots is specified for each database.
To set the remote results and files roots:
- Choose
Database | Set Remote Roots or
File | Database Administration | Set Remote Roots, depending on the product.
This opens the Set Remote Roots dialog.
- If there is a check box Force all remote roots to be below the database, uncheck this if you want to set your own locations for the remote roots.
- For each remote root, enter the path of the directory to be used, or use the
button to browse for a directory.
- Click OK.
