Description

Static demand allocation

Enables the import of customer point data and automatic allocation of customer points and associated demands to nodes in the network. See Static demand allocation for more information.

Availability: Whenever a GeoPlan window of a checked out network is the currently active window.

Static demand update

Enables the update of customer point data by use of a CSV file. See Demand update from CSV for more information.

Availability: Whenever a GeoPlan window of a checked out network is the currently active window.

Spatial data analysis

Enables the import and automatic allocation of spatial data points to nodes in the network. See Processing spatial data for more information.

Node polygons

Contains menu items used in the allocation of land use area demand.

Create within selected polygons

Use this command to create Node Polygons within currently selected polygons using the Thiessen Polygon method. See Creating node polygons within selected polygons for further information.

Available whenever a GeoPlan window of a checked out network is the currently active window and one or more polygons is selected.

Allocate land use demand to nodes

Use this command to automatically allocate land use demand to nodes in the network.

Available whenever a GeoPlan window of a checked out network is the currently active window.

Set diameter of pipes

Enables effective pipe diameters to be set from lookup tables. The pipe Diameter field can be populated with effective diameters if Material and Diameter (nominal) values exist for the link. Nominal diameters in the Diameter field will be replaced by the diameter found in the lookup table.

Set roughness of pipes

Enables pipe roughness values to be set from lookup tables. The pipe roughness can be populated if Material , Year (and Diameter for Hazen Williams roughness) values exist for the link.

Set celerity of pipes

Enables pipe wave celerity values to be set from lookup tables. The pipe wave celerity can be populated if a Material values exists for the link.

Set highest property

Enables node highest property level values to be set from allocated customer points elevation. See Setting the highest property for more information.

Set total connections

Enables node total connections values to be set from the number of customer points allocated to the node. See Setting total connections for more information.

Availability: Whenever a GeoPlan window or network grid view of a checked out network is the currently active window.

Set area codes

Enables area code values to be set based on the sub-network in which an object is located. Sub-networks are determined by carrying out a boundary trace of the network.

Set material CO2 equivalent

Enables pipe CO2 material cost values to be set from lookup tables.

The CO2 material cost can be populated if Material and Diameter values exist for the link.

Expand short links

Enables expansion of the geometry of links of short or zero length to improve their display on the GeoPlan window. See Expanding short links for more information.

Set WQ Pipe Constants

Enables you to set the WQ pipe constant ID and value for a given set of pipe materials. See Set WQ Pipe Constants from Material dialog for more information.

Tables

Contains menu items used to display lookup tables of pipe diameters, pipe roughness values and minor losses at fittings. See Lookup tables for more information.

Nominal Size Table	Choosing this menu item displays a table of effective internal diameters for various pipe materials at different operating pressures.
CW Roughness Table	Choosing this menu item displays a table of roughness coefficients (k) for various pipe materials in different states of deterioration.
HW Roughness Table	Choosing this menu item displays a table of roughness coefficients (C) for various pipe materials in different age bands.
Minor Losses Table	Choosing this menu item displays a table of additional losses attributed to valves, bends and other fittings in the water supply network.

Availability: Whenever a GeoPlan window or network grid view is the currently active window.
