Long Section menu

Set As Target

Make the current Long Section view the target window.

The button can then be used to select a different section to display in the window.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Reverse Long Section

Reverse the direction in which the long section is viewed for the current page in the Long Section view.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Clear Long Section

Remove the long section display from the current page of the Long Section view.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Clear All Annotation Labels

Remove all Custom Labels from the current page of the Long Section view.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window and there are Custom Labels displayed on the current page of the view.

Select Nodes & Links

Select all nodes and links displayed on the current page of the Long Section view in all views.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Create From Selection

Create a long-section view from the objects that are currently selected on the GeoPlan window. If the objects selected on the GeoPlan Window are not connected, a long section for one run of links will be displayed.

Export Long Section Data to AutoCAD DWG

Save the current long-section window to DWG format. The long-section can then be opened and viewed in AutoCAD.

Save the current long-section information to Surge Animate .PRO format. The long-section can then be opened and viewed in Surge Animate.

Availability: Whenever InfoWorks TS option enabled on licence and a Long Section view containing Transient Simulation results is the currently active window.

Links Grid

Display a grid view of links displayed on the current page of the Long Section view. Choosing this menu item will display the Long Section Grid Link View. All link types are displayed in the same page of the grid view.

Nodes Grid

Display a grid view of links displayed on the current page of the Long Section view. Choosing this menu item will display the Long Section Grid Node View. All link types are displayed in the same page of the grid view.

Add Page

Add a page to the Long Section view after the current page.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Remove Page

Remove the current page from the Long Section view.

Availability: Whenever a Long Section view is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Properties

Enables editing of scaling and other display options on the current page of the Long Section view. Choosing this menu item will display the Long Section Properties dialog.
