Undo

Undo the last operation carried out in the current grid view. This command can only be used to undo basic operations, such as typing within cells.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window and a basic operation, such as typing a value in a cell, has been carried out.

Toolbar: None

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, U or Ctrl+Z

Redo

Cancel the Undo command.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window and an Undo operation has been carried out.

Toolbar: None

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, R or Ctrl+R

Cut

Copy the contents of a single selected cell to the clipboard and removes the contents of the cell from the Grid View.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window and a single cell is selected in the grid.

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, T or Ctrl+X

Copy

Copy the contents of the currently selected cells in the Grid View to the clipboard.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Toolbar: Edit Toolbar

Paste

Paste data currently on the clipboard into the Grid View.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Toolbar: Edit Toolbar

Rename

Rename the currently selected item in the database tree. Choosing this menu item will display the Rename Database Item dialog.

Availability: Whenever the Model Group window or the Explorer window is the currently active window, and there is an item selected in the tree.

Delete

Delete the currently selected objects in the current Grid View. Selected objects that are displayed in other grid views will not be deleted. This operation cannot be undone.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window and a row(s) is selected.

Undelete

Not currently used.

Copy selected object(s)

Copy the selected object(s) to the clipboard. Allows selected network objects to be copied from one network to another, or within the same network. The network object copy and paste facility is only available within a single instance of InfoWorks WS Pro.

Availability: When a network is open and there are network objects selected

Paste append object(s)

Paste appends the object(s) that have previously been copied using the Copy Network Objects command.

Availability: When a checked out network is open and there is copied network object data available for pasting

Refresh view

Updates the view in the Model Group window and the Explorer window to take account of recent changes.

Availability: Whenever the Model Group window or Explorer window is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, V or Ctrl+R

Copy/save view

Contains menu options to saves the current view (GeoPlan, Long Section or Graph) to the clipboard or a file, as a bitmap (BMP) or a Windows metafile (WMF).

Availability: Whenever a GeoPlan Window, Long Section View or Graph View is the currently active window.

Export to file

Exports contents of currently selected cells in a Grid View to a CSV file.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Keyboard Shortcut: Ctrl+Alt+C

Find

Searches the current column in a Grid View for a specified value.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, I or Ctrl+F

Replace

Replace occurrences of one value in the current column with another value. Individual, or all occurrences may be replaced.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Keyboard Shortcut: Alt+E, R or Ctrl+H

Find again

Repeats the last search made using the Find menu option. The search will be carried out in the current column of the Grid View.

Availability: Whenever a Grid View is the currently active window.

Toolbar: None

Properties

Opens the Property Sheet for the current item (the row in which the cursor is currently located) in the Grid View.
