Creating a new GeoExplorer

The GeoExplorer provides a geographic view of the models within the database.

To create a new GeoExplorer

1. In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click a model group.
2. Select New GeoExplorer from the context menu.
3. Type a name for the GeoExplorer in the dialog and click OK.

The new GeoExplorer will be checked out but will not be displayed. The blank GeoExplorer can be displayed by right-clicking the GeoExplorer in the database tree and selecting Open from the context menu. Alternatively, drag the GeoExplorer icon onto the background area outside the Explorer window or Model Group window. GeoExplorer Zones can then be added. When you have finished making changes, you should check in the GeoExplorer.
