You can create character sets from the Key menu, the Trax Editor, or the Relationship Editor.
To create a character set from the Key menu
- Select the objects you want to include in the character set.
- Do either of the following, depending on whether you want to set creation options, or use the options already set in the
Create Character Set Options:
- From the Key menu, select .
- From the
Key menu, select
.
In the Create Character Set Options, set the options you want and click Create Character Set. See Character Sets.
To create a character set in the Trax Editor
- Select the object you want to add to a new character set.
- In the
Trax Editor, select
.
The Create Character Set Options window appears. See Character Sets.
- Set the options and click
Create Character Set.
A character set is created, and the selected object is made a member of that set.
Note: You do not have to manually create character sets in the
Trax Editor. When you create a clip for an animated object, a character set is automatically created in the
Trax Editor for the object’s clip.
To create a character set in the Relationship Editor
- You can also create characters while using the Relationship Editor in Character Editing mode (select ). Select the objects you want to include in the character set, and in the Relationship Editor, select .
