Setting a plug-in path

Use the SDK preference settings to assign additional paths for MotionBuilder to search so that you can access plug-ins that reside in external directories.

To set a plug-in path:

1. Select Settings > Preferences from the menu bar.

2. From the Preferences window, select the SDK option.

   The SDK preference setting displays.

3. Click Add.

   The window Add Additional Paths to Search for Plug-ins appears.

4. Navigate to the plug-in folder.

5. Select the plug-in folder and click OK.

   Any plug-ins found in the specified location are now available to MotionBuilder.

To remove a plug-in path, select the path and click Remove.
