To set Measured Data Scaling parameters for the active measure

To adjust your measurements for comparing a scale model of a part to a full-size CAD model:

1. Click Measure tab > Current panel > Parameters.
2. In the Measure Parameters dialog, select the Measured Data Scaling tab.
   Note: Scaling factors are available only when creating inspections for CNC and Manual machines.

To compensate for comparing a scaled part to a full-size CAD model:

1. Select a ratio by which you want to scale measurements. For example:
   • If you do not want to scale your measurements, select 1 : 1 (this option is selected by default).
   • If you are comparing a half-size part with a full-size CAD model, select 1 : 2.
   • If you are comparing a full-size part with a half-size CAD model, select the bottom option and enter a ratio of 2 : 1.
2. Click OK to save your changes.

If you select a Scale Factor other than 1 : 1, it is displayed in the PowerInspect DRO and the Co-ordinates dialog.
