The NC Preferences dialog enables you to specify the settings for NC programs in PowerMill. The settings are grouped into different tabs.
To display the NC Preferences dialog:
- Click NC Program tab > Edit panel > Options > Preferences.
- From the NC Programs context menu, select Preferences.
This dialog contains the following tabs:
- Output — Use this tab to specify the default output settings for the project's NC programs.
- Toolpath — Use this tab to specify the default toolpath settings for the project's NC programs.
- Fixture offset — Use this tab to specify the default fixture offsets for the project's NC programs.
- Verification — Use this tab to specify the default verification settings for the project's NC programs.
The changes that you make using the NC Preferences dialog are not inherited by existing NC programs. To make changes to all existing NC programs, in the Explorer, right-click NC Programs and select Edit All. Or, if you only want to make changes to several existing NC programs, select the NC programs and in the Explorer, right-click an NC program and select Edit Selected.
