If the code EN 1992-1-1:2004 AC:2008 is selected, you can specify values of deviations of the cover in the following dialog.
To ensure that a value of the cover deviation is not used in calculations, define the parameter Dc = 0.
The following sections of EN 1992-1-1:2004 AC:2008, referring to covers, have been implemented in Robot:
- Table 4.4 N referring to the minimum cover with regard to durability for reinforcement steel (4.4.1.2 (5))
- Increasing the cover by the additive safety element (4.4.1.2 (6))
- Taking account of the cover deviations in calculations (10 mm is recommended) (4.4.1.3 (1))
- Taking account of the cover deviations in calculations if concrete is cast against prepared ground or directly against soil (4.4.1.3 (4)).
