Launch from CAD

Use this step to launch from Autodesk® Inventor, SolidWorks, PTC® Creo, or UGNX.

Step 1: Start CAD and open the model

Open the Manifold assembly from this folder:

Users\Public\Public Documents\Autodesk\CFD 2023\Tutorials\<cad>\manifold

Step 2: Launch the Model

Click the command to launch the Active Model.

For example, if you are launching from Autodesk® Inventor, click Simulation and Active Model:

Step 3: Create the Design Study

The Design Study Manager dialog opens. For the tutorial, leave the Study name, Design name, Scenario name, and Study path as the defaults.

Click Launch.

Autodesk® CFD starts, and creates the Design Study for the tutorial.
