Search BOM View
Use the Find Panel to search listed BOMs in the BOM view, including the multi-level view.
Rules for BOM Searches
- Rows that match search criteria are displayed along with their parents, all the way up to the top-level node.
- All related parents of nodes that meet search criteria are displayed, even if the parents themselves do not meet the search criteria.
- The search honors the current Row Type selection.
The Find Panel must be turned on to search BOMs.
Show the Find Panel
- Select the Item Master.
- Select the Bill of Materials tab in the Preview Pane.
- Right-click in the white space beneath the BOM rows and select Show Find Panel.
The Find Panel displays in the upper right of the BOM view.
