Updates:

  • Updated Avatars: We've integrated the latest full-body version of Meta Avatars with visual, functional, and performance enhancements
  • Avatar Height Setting: Input your height before entering a workshop to have your Avatar scaled accordingly for better representation to your collaborators
  • More Stable Performance: Model loading will feel more stable in both Workshop and 1:1 modes

What’s Fixed:

  • Console:

    • Resolved an issue that caused go-to issues to sometimes work incorrectly
  • Model Loading:

    • Resolved an issue that could cause the wrong LOD state to display in some cases
    • Resolved an issue where issuers were not filters when loading 3D views
  • Tools:

    • Resolved an issue that could cause issues with the persistence and visibility of measurements
  • Issues:

    • Resolved an issue that could cause some view-based issues to appear in a different location in Workshop XR as compared to ACC
  • General:

    • Various crashes and bug fixes
    • Resolved an issue where the wrong font was displaying in some portions of Workshop XR web

Known Issues and Workarounds:

  • Exiting and reentering a Workshop may cause a user’s audio to sound quieter. To fix this, users should force close the app and relaunch.
  • Changes to visibility of various geometry may not be reflected for all users in a meeting.
  • Model panel may show incorrect visibility layers when switching models
  • In some circumstances, a user’s chair may be visible before their Avatar upon first entering a Workshop
  • The Model Browser tab may take an extended time to load for some models
  • Users may experience unintentional avatar behavior, such as repeatedly transitioning between poses, if their physical position is outside of expected bounds
  • Users may receive a "We are experiencing technical difficulties" notice after rapidly switching between various menus in the console.
