Create a table placeholder

Learn how to create a table placeholder in a drawing template in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

1. Create or open a drawing template.

2. In the Template contextual environment, on the toolbar click Tables > Table Placeholder .

   The Table Placeholder dialog displays and a preview of the table placeholder displays at the cursor.

3. Click to place the table placeholder on the sheet.

4. In the Table Placeholder dialog, select the Reference.

   • Select Drawing View: Associates the table placeholder with a specific drawing view.
     • Drawing View: Select a drawing view on the current sheet.
   • Custom Table: Creates a custom table placeholder.
   • Existing Reference: Associates the table placeholder with an existing reference.

5. Click to place the table placeholder.

The table placeholder displays on the sheet.
