Edit a component's initial position

Learn how to use the Edit Initial Position tool to modify the position of a component when it was created or inserted into a design in Fusion.

1. Expand the Browser.

2. Right-click the component.

3. Select Edit Initial Position.

   The Move dialog displays.

4. Move or rotate the component:

   • Move: Drag the distance manipulator handles in the canvas or specify exact values for X Distance, Y Distance, and Z Distance.
   • Rotate: Drag the rotation manipulator handles in the canvas or specify exact values for X Angle, Y Angle, and Z Angle.

5. Click OK.

The component displays in the canvas in the position you specified.
