Modify NET connections
When connections are made, relationships between components are created, and you should avoid modifying them. However, there are still some things you can do to change your connections.
To delete a connection
- On the Electronics schematic toolbar, on the Design toolbar, click Edit > Delete
.
- On the canvas, click the connection you want to delete.
- Continue to click other connection segments you want to delete.
- On your keyboard, press Escape to exit the delete mode.
To remove a connection point
- Delete the segments connected to the connection point.
- Use NET to draw in a new connection or line segment.
To resize a connection
- Click and drag its end-point or joint.
To rename a connection
On the Electronics schematic toolbar, on the Design toolbar, click Connect > Name
.
In the canvas, select the connection you want to rename to open the Name dialog.
In the Name dialog, type a new name.
Click OK to accept the new name and close the dialog.
If other connections have the same name, the new name will be applied to all of them.
To move multiple items in the schematic
- On the Electronics schematic toolbar, click Select > Window Select
.
- In the canvas click and drag around the items you want to move.
- Click one of the items in the selection box and drag to move the selected items as a group.
