(Optional) Set up item picklist fields
Workspace picklists can be added to connect the new change management processes to existing data in your site. The items in this template come with matching fields in their Item Details pages already, but they are defined as generic text fields only. You should change them to picklist fields that pull in data from other workspaces so that information is more closely linked and data quality is improved at the same item.
As an example, the item details for the problem report has single line text fields for Affected Product and Affected Item fields. It is recommended to change these fields to the Picklist type. The Affected Product field would select from the Product workspace. The Affected Item field would select from the Items workspace.
The following table shows a list of fields which should be changed to the Picklist type and the recommended picklist to use. Note that your site may not have all of these picklists created.
