Each tutorial features a different application type often solved with Autodesk Simulation CFD. All explore the entire process from launching CAD geometry to visualizing results. In some of the examples, we compare the results after making geometry and set-up changes.
Tutorial Format
Each tutorial is divided into multiple steps, and each step is presented in its own topic. All steps share a similar format, as shown in this example:
- The introduction often (but not always) describes the purpose of the step. It may also contain an action to change the task.
- When an action involves a mouse click on the model, the appropriate mouse button and model location are shown.
- In many steps, the completed User Interface dialog is shown to summarize the actions.
- Additional information is often given in a Note.
- When appropriate, a link to related information is included in the step. Use this to learn more about the subject-matter in the step.
- When finished with the step, move to the next step by clicking the Next link in the lower left corner.
Displaying the Help System While Working Tutorials
A convenient way of working the examples is to position the browser and Autodesk Simulation CFD beside one another. Most steps use a narrow layout that shows well with a reduced browser width.
