Each Item drawn is made of several components that take the form of the Item itself, Annotation, Hidden Detail etc. Depending on the project these components may need to be manipulated independently of each other as a whole. An example of this would be a requirement to be able to switch off Annotation but still leave Hidden Detail, or deeper still, to be able to switch off particular types of Annotation, such as Sizes but leave others, such as Item Numbers visible.
All of these requirements are easily met by using the System Services. Services provide the user with total control over the placement of each Item and its individual components as layers.
