Creating components

To create a component:

1. Open or display the model to create the components in.
2. If the model contains assemblies, activate the assembly you want to create the components in.

   If the model does not contain an assembly, a new assembly is created automatically when you create a component.

3. Click Assembly tab > Component panel, and choose from:
   • From Solids
   • With Power Features
   • Add Component (using the Intelligent Cursor)
   • Add Component Advanced
