After creating an installed machine, the next step is to setup the installed machine by clicking the Setup button on the Installed Machines dialog. Clicking the Setup button displays the Machine Editor dialog which is used to configure new machines, or edit the settings of existing ones. The tabs that display on the Machine Editor dialog are different depending on if you are setting up a flat sheet cutting type of machine, or a linear nesting type of machine.
Flat sheet cutting machines refer to machines that are designed to optimise materials that are typically cut on a flat sheet (flatbed, rotary, or shear) type of machine. To install this type of machine, choose one of the following tabs along the top of the Installed Machines dialog: Flatbed, Rotary, Shear.
Linear nesting machines refer to machines that are designed to optimise cut-to-length materials that are typically bought and available in standard lengths, and then cut to fit into other ductwork components, such as elbows and tees, etc. Other materials that might be cut to length in the same way include the following: electrical containment, linear duct, pipework, airturn vanes, ancillary kits, support rods, tie rods, and flanges. To install this type of machine, choose one of the following tabs along the top the Installed Machines dialog: Round Linear, Rectangular Linear, or Ancillaries.
To setup a machine:
