Setter Support structure

The Setter Support tool creates a type of support structure for holding additively manufactured parts when placed in a sintering furnace. Sintering is a secondary process used in some types of additive manufacturing, for example binder jetting and metal FFF, where the deposited material is solidified and strengthened through the application of heat.

Setter supports form in the shadow of a part. This type of support acts as a cradle to help minimize potential distortion of parts during sintering.
