Create projected views

Learn how to create projected views on a sheet in the Drawing workspace in Fusion.

1. Select Create > Projected View .

2. Click to select the drawing view to use as the parent.

3. Drag the mouse away from the parent view, in the direction of the projected view you want to create.

   • Right: Drag to the right (0 degrees).

   • NE Isometric: Drag to the upper right (45 degrees).

   • Top: Drag straight up (90 degrees).

   • NW Isometric: Drag to the upper left (135 degrees).

   • Left: Drag to the left (180 degrees).

   • SW Isometric: Drag to the lower left (225 degrees).

   • Bottom: Drag straight down (270 degrees).

   • SE Isometric: Drag to the lower right (315 degrees).

     A preview of the projected view displays at the cursor.

4. Click to place the projected view on the sheet.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 to place additional views.

6. Press Enter to complete the Projected View command.

The projected views display on the sheet.
