Copy the help files locally or on an network location, then set your preferences so that the Help > Alias Help command opens the downloaded help instead of the Alias Online Help (for example https://help.autodesk.com/view/ALIAS/2024/ENU/).

Download the Alias Offline Help here.

Tool Locator

Finds tools or menu items in the interface that match your search phrase. Type part of the name of the tool or menu item you want to find. You can use regular expression matching.

As you begin typing, the Tool Locator window automatically populates with results based on your query, narrowing the search as you type more of the tool name. Select the tool icon or menu item from the Tool Locator to activate that tool or open the menu item.

Learn essential skills by watching the tutorial videos in the Essential Skills section, and click the Learn More button to visit the online help page for more details. You can also watch the videos online with subtitles by clicking the Watch Online links.

You can create a new empty wire file or open an existing one directly from the onboarding window. Click the arrow next to the Open button, then select Open Examples... to try working with an example file. Click Recent to quickly access to your recent files. Display them in list view for file details or switch to grid view to see larger file previews, and select a file to continue working where you left off.
