Getting Started with Assets for Project Administrators

As a project administrator, you can enable your team to use the Assets tool effectively by configuring asset settings.

1. In the Assets tool, click .
2. Select one of the options from the drop-down list to open the corresponding tab in the Assets > Settings page.
3. Use the settings on the tabs as follows:
   • Models tab - to add 3D models and map assets to them.
   • Asset categories - to create asset categories and subcategories that can be used to group assets.
   • System categories - to create system categories and subcategories that can be used to group asset systems.
   • Custom Fields - to specify which asset information you want your teams to record in the field.
   • Status sets - to track asset categories based on the stages assets pass through during a project.
   • Permissions - to assign permissions to project members, determining how they can interact with assets.
