Assigned Items by Company Reports

The Assigned Items By Company report allows you to automate report generation for each company. You set up one report, and the system generates an Issue Detail report for each assigned company. You can save the report as a template, and also define a cadence to schedule and fully automate the report.

The data included in the Assigned Items by Company report can only be presented as a PDF file.

Note: An issue is defined as assigned to a company when it's either directly assigned to the company, or assigned to a member that is associated with the company in the project.

The report includes a list of issues with detailed fields such as:

  • Status
  • Type
  • Description
  • Assignee
  • Creator
  • Creation date
  • Issue owner
  • Location
  • Due date
  • Root cause
  • Custom fields
  • Comments
  • Attachments

Once the report runs, there is a report for each company in the reports log. The report names are recorded as the title and the company name.

Filter: Use filters to limit the data that appears in the report. You can filter the report data by:

  • Status
  • Type
  • Start date
  • Due date
  • Root cause
  • Created by
  • Location
  • Deleted issues
Tip:

Click to add more filters and further refine the data included in the report. Click Reset to clear all applied filters.

Sort: Organize your report by setting up sorting criteria. You can sort the report data in ascending order or descending order by:

  • ID
  • Status
  • Title
  • Description
  • Start date
  • Due date
  • Location
  • Location details
  • Created on
  • Updated on

Choose from the available options:

  • Cover page
  • Table of contents
  • Photos
  • Comments

Select fields to be included in the report, and drag them to reorder as needed.

Create and Schedule Assigned Items by Company Report

  1. Click Reports from the left navigation to open the Reports tool.

  2. Click Create Report, and then select the Assigned items by company template.

  3. In the Details view, configure the report by entering a title for the report, applying filters, options, and sorting order.

  4. When creating an Assigned items by company report, you can choose which fields you want to include in your report. You can also control the order of those fields.

    Customize the data that you want to show in the report, including or excluding the following fields (if available):

    • Description
    • Assigned to
    • Created by
    • Deleted by
    • Deleted on
    • Created on
    • Location
    • Location details
    • Due date
    • Start date
    • Placement
    • Root cause
  5. Click Run report.

  6. To schedule the report, in the Templates tab, click the More menu on the right side of the report, and choose Schedule report .

Notifications

As a report creator, you will receive a summary email that contains a list of issue detail reports for each company.

As a report recipient, you will only receive the issue detail report containing issues assigned to your company.
