Known Issues for Dynamo Player

String input in Dynamo Player fails in a graph that contains a Number from Feet and Inches node set as Is Input

Symptom: You edit a Dynamo graph that contains a Number from Feet and Inches node set as Is Input. When you enter a new value for the input in Dynamo Player, the new value will appear in the Player, but the output of the node will not be updated.

Issue: This issue occurs when using the legacy Number from Feet and Inches node.

Work-around: Replace Number from Feet and Inches nodes with Parse Unit Input nodes.

Dynamo Player continues to display a warning state after graph issues are fixed in Dynamo

Symptom: You open Dynamo from a Dynamo Player graph and then run the graph from Player. The graph has an error or warning. You address the issue(s) in Dynamo, then save and run the graph. Dynamo will no longer show graph issues, but Dynamo Player will continue to display a warning state in the footer.

Issue: This issue occurs when changes are made to the Dynamo graph while the graph details page is open in Dynamo Player.

Work-around: When making changes to the graph in Dynamo, back out of the graph details page in Dynamo Player until you’re done making changes.
