File Naming Standard

A file naming standard governs the form of the file names contained in Autodesk Docs for Government. The naming standard consists of a naming convention, related attributes, and rules that dictate how file names are defined.

The naming standard is built on the foundation of the ISO 19650 series of standards that define information management principles and requirements in the context of the digital transformation of the build environment.

The naming standard can be applied selectively to different folders in the Project Files folder within Document Management.
