The results windows usually display results for a single network object. The window is displayed in the middle of the Network Page beneath the GeoPlan Window.
Values displayed in grids and graphs switch when users switch between runs.
See Viewing Simulation Results for details on generating grid and graph data.
Grid window
- Time varying data for single network object. The results displayed in the grids are detailed in the links below.
- Node Results Data Fields for the Node Results Grid Window
- Link Results Data Fields for the Link Results Grid Window
- Subcatchment Results Data Fields for the Subcatchment Results Grid Window
- Time varying data for all the network objects contained in the area of interest. See Summary Results Window for more information.
- Property details for read-only Results element 2D objects. See Results Element 2D Grid for further information.
For details on how to select or work with grid network objects in grids, please refer to the Selecting and working with Network Objects on Grids topic.
Graph window
Graph results can be displayed for a selected time period by adjusting replay start and finish times on the Replay Options Dialog and checking the Apply to Grid and Graph Tools option. See the Viewing Simulation Results topic for more details on generating graphs.
The red time line displayed on the graph shows the current time of the simulation, mirroring the current time of the simulation on the GeoPlan Window. To jump to a different simulation time, drag and drop the red line to the desired simulation time directly on the graph. The simulation date and time will be updated accordingly on the GeoPlan Window.
The blue time line displayed on the graph shows the run origin time of the simulation.
If an alert is associated with the object and attribute being graphed, a trace of the alert will be also be displayed on the graph.
When comparing simulations, traces for comparison simulations will be included on the graph. (Note that alerts will not be shown on graphs when displaying results for more than one simulation.)
A context menu allows users to:
- Change the properties of the graph (Graph Properties option, displaying the Graph Properties dialog).
- Export traces to CSV (Export Traces to CSV option).
- Generate scatter graph (Create a scatter graph option). This option is only available for data which contains more than one set of attributes.
- Display auto-labels showing trace values at the current time of simulation (Auto-label traces option).
It can be particularly useful to disable auto scaling prior to switching between runs. For this, right-click the graph, select Graph Properties and untick the Auto scale checkbox.
