Create Queries to Compare Rehab Action Costs (What's New)

June 25 | Compare the total cost of an action to another cost to determine the best course of action.

For example, you may want to:

  • Query if the total cost of an action is greater than a specific value.
  • Compare the total cost of one action (e.g., reline) to the total cost of another (e.g., replace) to determine which is cheaper.
  • Compare the total cost of one action (e.g., point repair) to a percentage of another action's cost (e.g., replacement).
  • Compare the total cost of an action to another cost stored elsewhere (e.g., in a custom table).
Note: For actions whose cost is specified as a cost per foot or metre, the total cost is calculated by multiplying by the length of the asset.

In the following example, the query will check if the total cost of relining an asset is greater than 80% of the cost of replacing it.
