The Camera Sequencer lets you create a single 'ubercam' camera to represent all shots in a sequence.
Before you create an ubercam, ensure that the camera shots in your sequence are set up as follows:
- No shots are scaled larger or smaller than 100%, and no shots have pre or post holds.
- All shots have the same duration (and number of frames) in sequence time and source time.
- Shot cameras are not constrained to follow any other object in the scene.
To create a single camera for all shots in a sequence
- In the Camera Sequencer, select Create > Ubercam.
The ubercam is created and is visible in the Outliner window. (There is no object created in the Camera Sequencer.) All camera parameters from the shots in your sequence are baked to this single camera. If you modify any of the source cameras, simply recreate the ubercam to update.
To adjust ubercam properties, select the ubercam in the Outliner, and open the Attribute Editor.
